Shoes and bags are extremely important to women. Most women. Firstly, nothing feels as good as “moving into” a new handbag. Secondly, you can wear old jeans and a plain white t-shirt, slip on a fabulous pair of shoes, and you’ve got an outfit.

And, ultimately, if you’re ever feeling like “nothing fits,” bags and shoes always will. I’ve tried, many times, to communicate this intrinsic value to Mark, but to no avail. Men, just don’t really get it.

Women’s accessories, especially handbags, are extensions of ourselves. They represent “who we are.” Our style. Our vibe. Our personalities. They are necessessities.

So, when my friend Dayna, (hey girl), sent me this Xtranormal YouTube video, I literally fell off my chair in a fit of crying hysterical laughter.

You must watch it!

Mark walked into the office, and found me in a state of delerium. He asked, “What’s going on?”

“You have to see this,” I cried.

We watched it together. We laughed. We cried. We were just hysterical.

So, I hope the ladies out there feel good knowing there is solidarity among us. We are one in the fight for our right to own expensive handbags. And, to our men, “Lighten up. It’s only a bag.”
